Itchy Baby Co. specialises in providing 100% naturally sourced, fragrance-free, sustainable, hypoallergenic skincare products for babies and children, including little ones with eczema skin.

Our new Natural Shampoo and Body Wash was developed by our scientists to cleanse and protect sensitive skin, eyes, hair & scalp. All Itchy Baby Co. products use only naturally sourced ingredients known to be non-irritant and soothing for the skin. We tested the final formulation for eye sensitivity and for hypoallergenicity.

Here are the main key ingredients used in our shampoo:

Emu Apple

A native hero ingredient. Highly moisturising & hydrating to help keep skin healthy.

The Emu Apple extract is a new ingredient in Western skincare but has been used for hundreds of years by the native South Australian community. This species offers an abundance of compounds to revitalize and moisturise hair, skin, scalp and face. Its components have been shown to have anti- inflammatory, moisturising, conditioning, antioxidant properties which promotes hair follicle health and prevents hair loss. Our native Emu extract was consciously extracted using purified, deionised, rain-harvested water and
less plant material than past processes to produce a natural extract, that is eco-sustainable, traceable to source, transparent in composition – delivering the brilliance of nature.

Aloe Vera

Softening, moisturising & packed full of antioxidant benefits.

Aloe Vera contains vitamins A, C, and E. All three of these vitamins contribute to cell turnover, promoting healthy cell growth and shiny hair. Vitamin B12 and folic acid are also contained in Aloe Vera gel. Both of these components prevents the hair from falling out. This versatile ingredient is high in amino acids, enzymes, and minerals like calcium and magnesium. All of which help to keep the skin looking bright and moisturised. This ingredient is ideal for those with sensitive and delicate skin.

Organic Coconut

High in vitamin E & soothing properties that help the skin hold in hydration.

Coconut Oil has gained popularity as a beauty and health treatment. Organic Coconut Oil is rich in medium chain Triglycerides which softens and conditions the skin. Both refined and unrefined coconut oils have triglycerides (fatty acids) which makes them an excellent candidate for natural moisturisers. As coconut oil can easily be absorbed, it also provides moisture for the hair & scalp. It works wonders at repairing and replenishing dry hair & flaky scalp.
