How subscriptions work

Subscriptions are automatically renewed according to your selected delivery interval and the products will be automatically delivered after each successful renewal.

For example, if you start a fortnightly subscription, then the system will automatically charge your credit card each fortnight, without the need to place the order again and again!

Can I pause or cancel a subscription?

Yes, of course. You can pause or cancel a subscription after making your first three re-occurring orders any time you want in the customer portal, as seen in the screenshot below. 

The customer portal can be accessed through the magic link that's sent in an email to you when you first place a subscription order with us. You can also access your subscriptions if you create a customer account.

How to cancel a subscription

How can I skip or reschedule a charge?

You can skip or reschedule the charge in the customer portal. Each scheduled delivery will have a Skip payment button next to it, which you can use to skip the charge. You can reschedule the charge by clicking on the Reschedule button next to the delivery date.

Can I add products to my subscription?

Of course. You can add products to your subscription in the customer portal. Just click on the Edit button in the products card and edit, remove or add products to your subscription.

What happens if the payment can't be processed?

If the subscription can't be renewed because a payment can't be processed you will receive an email with a link where you can safely update your payment method. Your order will not be fulfilled until the payment is received. 

How does the pricing work?

When you subscribe, you get a discount on the product(s) based on your chosen delivery frequency. If there's a sale when you first subscribe, your next order may be full price with a subscription discount. For recurring payments during a sale, you'll pay the sale price minus the subscription discount.

You will receive the subscription discount on every order.

An update on Natural Sunscreen SPF50+

After months of independent testing, we’ve decided not to proceed with a planned restock of our Natural Sunscreen SPF50. 

We understand this product has been unavailable for some time, but our top priority will always be your little one’s safety. After industry-wide concerns were raised earlier this year, we chose to undertake additional independent SPF testing before restocking. 

Based on those results, the current batch of our Natural Sunscreen SPF50 will not return to sale this summer.  

We know this decision will be disappointing for some customers. But as a small Australian skincare business, we’re only comfortable selling products that meet our high quality standards and that we can confidently stand behind. 

What are we doing now?  

These testing results mean we’re making some changes. 

1.    Natural Sunscreen SPF50 is the only sunscreen product in our range and the only white-labelled base formula from a manufacturer. The rest of our range is unique to us and manufactured in Australia. 

2.    Every new sunscreen product will be tested at two different independent labs before going on sale.

Does this update apply to products already sold?

The above update only relates to one batch of Natural Sunscreen SPF50+ that was held from sale and never sold to Itchy Baby Co customers.


This batch was intended for sale this summer. Our Australian manufacturer used a different formula from earlier sunscreen products they supplied to us, so we treated this batch as a ‘new’ product to Itchy Baby Co.

After industry-wide concerns were raised earlier this year, we paused this planned restock to undertake additional independent SPF testing before sale. Based on those results, we decided not to release it to our community.

All previous batches of Natural Sunscreen SPF50+ met regulatory standards in place at the time and there are no recalls in place for any batches of our sunscreen.

We understand it’s frustrating when a product you rely on isn’t available and that some families may be looking for alternatives this summer. As a gesture of support, we’re offering refunds on previously purchased Itchy Baby Co sunscreen.
